BAGI originally came to me to solve a couple glaring issues both on the UX side and with the CMS workflow...but ultimately, building the foundation for a coherent digital design language was in order.

It's often a mistake to start with a specific frame or screen size in mind (but not always). The web is a sprawl of edgeless content, so it's better to think in terms of individual atoms in a design "periodic table" that can be re-arranged gracefully to fill various screens.
In the old website, you had to unfortunately "search for search". 😠Here I show various possibilities for a single-modality, high-contrast search UI for bagi.org.
